Welcome to the MTSG's website!

The MTSG is one of the largest and most active TSG groups in the country. We cater for trainees, paralegals and up to one-year qualifieds in the Manchester area. We aim to provide a range of events from sponsored drinks evenings through to formal balls as well as maintaining various educational programmes and representative roles.

Over recent months MTSG members have enjoyed the summer ball (Gangsters and Molls theme), a golf tournament, and the conclusion of this year's educational programme.

We have a committee of 18 people, drawn from firms in and around Manchester, who kindly give up their time in addition to their jobs to ensure that the MTSG continues. For full details what each member can do for you, click on the 'about' section of our website.

Membership of the MTSG is currently only £50 for 2 years, which we think is absolutely fantastic value for money. We hope that your firm, as a gesture, will cover the cost of your membership but even if they will not pay for you to join (and if they don’t then try shaming them into paying for you to join!), it’s well worthwhile paying yourself. You’ll have the opportunity to meet and network with a large number of other lawyers, many of whom will already be, or become in the future, friends and associates.

As a non profit-making organisation the MTSG relies on the kind support of a number of sponsors whose contributions both in terms of time and money, are invaluable. We exist purely for our members’ benefit and the money that sponsors provide is used solely for the purpose of providing events.
